JavaZone 2011 - Working with code
Using IntelliJ, the talk will give live demonstration of different approaches to the common refactoring operations. This will include deleting code, renaming code, introducing parameters, introducing variables, creating variables, inlining and selecting code.
This is the stuff you don't pick up by casual messing around with the "refactor" menu, and is valuable for professionals with 10+ years experience as well as beginners. Everyone will learn something.
