Har du noensinne lurt på hvordan HTTP caching fungerer? I dette foredraget vil jeg fortelle om hvordan spesifikasjonen sier at det skal fungere. Jeg vil gi eksempler og se hvordan de forskjellige cache-reglene oppfører seg. Her vil det også vises noen "Gotchas".

Jeg vil også se på utvidelser til HTTP, herunder Cache Channels, og Edge Side Includes (ESI).

Erlend Hamnaberg

Erlend is a senior software consultant working in Arktekk. He mainly works as a software developer and architect. His technical interests revolve around HTTP, REST, and functional programming. He dabbles in multiple languages, some with more than one paradigm, including Scala. The target platform of choice is usually the JVM, but other platforms are also interesting. He has previously been the Chairman of javaBin (Norwegian Java User Group). He is involved with multiple open source projects, including being the lead developer and architect behind the open source HTTP–cache library HTTPCache4j.

JavaZone 2012 will be held in Oslo Spektrum September 12th and 13th with over 2000 participants. This is the eleventh annual JavaZone, and the sixth at this location.JavaZone 2012
